You can only get access to a specific Google Analytics account, property, or a view, depending on how someone planned its setup. If you know there is a special filtered Google Analytics View to a specific part of a website, ask the person with User Management permissions to add you to that View.

If you have less knowledge of Google Analytics account structure, don't worry you may get help from the person in charge. If you don’t know the Google Analytics account structure, just ask the person in charge that same question you asked us. If there is no such a view and you have some good reasons to access its GA data, ask the admin to create a filtered view for you and to add you there. You will be able to look at the website data from the moment that GA View has been created, not the data from the past.

  • If you need to get a report from Google Analytics of a variety of website metrics, it is a must to install a tracking code on every page of your website and it should appear on all pages of your website.
  • If you don't have coding knowledge or experience in placing the code then just contact your webmasters or web design company that manage your website.
  • You will add the tracking code to either the header or footer file of your website.
  • If you are adding the tracking code to the header file or footer file, make sure the code is contained before the </> closing tag.
